Why Choose Balmer Moulding?
Since 1835, Balmer has been creating architectural and decorative details, first in the United Kingdom, and, since 1894, in North America. Throughout the years, Balmer has retained only the most talented artists and sculptors working in wood, steel, clay and compositions to create thousands of original pieces of architectural art. The Balmer name has become synonymous with tradition, quality, reliability, originality and excellence.

Every Balmer moulding is modeled, moulded, and produced in exceptional quality plaster or our exclusively formulated rigid polyurethane. Today, thousands of homes and buildings contain Balmer artwork. It is not unusual to read real estate advertisements which proclaim homes on the market containing beautiful Balmer moulding.

Renovations, restorations, and individually designed custom works for homes, condominiums, apartments, hotels, theaters, restaurants, offices, boardrooms, stores, churches, government buildings, courthouses and embassies are all specialities in which Balmer excels.

Materials
Balmer products are made of non-combustible, nontoxic glass fibre reinforced plaster, plaster cements, and composites or in an exclusive, high density, flame retarded rigid polyurethane formulation. Balmer products are intended for decorative interior non-structural use.

Manufacturing & Design Facilities
Balmer can supply any size project, large or small, directly from our 120,000 sq ft manufacturing and design facilities. Made to order and custom manufactured products are routinely delivered on time and within budget.

A Library of over 12,000 Patterns
Balmer's library of patterns includes all classical enrichments in various sizes and styles. It enables designers to save the cost of custom modeling by selecting a standard pattern.

Custom Fabrication Capabilities
Shop and installation drawings are created on AutoCad® workstations for client review prior to manufacture. Custom products are engineered to meet the specific requirements of the client and simplify installation.

Restoration
Working from sample enrichments retrieved from a site, Balmer can model replacement parts for an historical restoration project. The result is an engineered part which installs easily on site and is more secure and durable than the original ornament.
